    Perfect followup to the Browning piece.
    We have such a brief tenure, that many of us don’t treasure enough. The material trappings don’t survive us and as those referenced in both these poems–their monuments may survive but what other mark have they left on the world? And what purpose leaving a mark on the world vs. making a meaningful interaction with those with whom you share it?
